The ESFLEA condemns the rhetoric of elected officials and the media which has created a culture dedicated to murdering law enforcement officers. We stand with our brothers and sisters in blue in Dallas, as well as all others who have been made targets by self-serving opportunists.

The ESFLEA sends their regrets for the loss of NYPD Officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu. Ramos was married with a 13-year-old son and had another in college. He had been on the job since 2012 and was a school safety officer. Liu had been on the job for seven years and married two months ago.
